Mission Statement!
LAX MANIAX is the premier girl’s lacrosse organization in the Southeastern United States. The organization is designed to educate, encourage and promote the growth of women’s / girl’s lacrosse, while preserving the integrity of the game. We seek to positively impact athletes by encouraging sportsmanship, respect for play- ers, coaches, umpires, and spectators and providing athletes opportunities to achieve their full potential. The LAX MANIAX are recognized nationally as one of the top club programs and its coaches and directors have a reputation for developing overall excellence. Our organization is devoted to ELITE girl’s lacrosse. The LAX MANIAX do not discriminate based upon race, creed, religion or national origin. The LAX MANIAX provide financial assistance for families who would be financially unable to participate without such aid.
Organizational Goals
To enrich the game of Girl’s Lacrosse throughout the entire State of Florida by personally developing student-athletes to be their best; To provide girls from Florida with access to high-level lacrosse, college coaches, and character building experiences.
Milestones!
Now in our 4th year of service, the LaxManiax has been recognized by Lacrosse Magazine as one of the top girls club programs in the country. Our club players are recruited by all levels of colleges from top-10 programs to new division 3 programs. We strive to network players to schools that they will be happy student-athletes and reach their educational goals. Our staff now totals more than 100 years of college coaching and playing experience which has enabled more than 60 alumni to earn spots on NCAA teams. The future is even brighter for the classes to come (2010, 2011 and younger) because our alums have panned out and stayed the course in college, earning starting roster spots, and working towards earning their college degrees.
We are also one of only 32 programs represented at the 2009 US Lacrosse U-15 National Championship tournament and were the ONLY club from Florida to compete at the IWLCA tournaments in 2007, 2008, and 2009 in the top recruiting division. In fact, the LaxManiax were the only club from Florida to enter either of the two IWLCA tournaments in 2009, opening doors to colleges that previously did not exist.
LaxManiax chapters exist locally in North, Central, Southeast, Southwest, and Vero Beach Florida and practice locally (in area), Regionally (in Central Florida), and Nationally (often prior to tournaments on holiday or summer weekends). Our system of coaches teaches more than plays and systems and breaks down lacrosse development for new and expert players alike. The system called “The Maniax Way” has been shared with programs from the top prep high schools in the MIAA to division I, II, and III colleges nationwide! It’s a program for people with a broad vision of future success and takes into account that being your best is a journey taken each day and not a destination.

Members of the class of 2010 Black Team represent the most recruited team in the history of Florida club lacrosse! Thanks to their success and the staff's experience (100+ years of playing and coaching NCAA lacrosse) our club players have access to the most opportunities following graduation.
